A partnership has been formed that unites AMA Pro MX Championship Title
Sponsor Lucas Oil and the Honda Team of Troy Lee Designs. The team will
now be referred to as the Lucas Oil/Honda/Troy Lee Designs Motocross
Team. Through this alliance, Troy Lee Designs becomes an official Team
Lucas Partner and as such will join Lucas Oil in a variety of
motorsports endeavors. Team Owner Troy Lee, long famous for customizing
helmets “For the World’s Fastest Racers,” has developed his reputation
as an innovator into a full force operation with an extensive product
line. “Everything Troy and Troy Lee Designs does reflects his special
touch and his commitment to quality and performance,” Said Lucas Oil
Vice President and General Counsel Bob Patison. He continued, “We are
looking forward to a long term relationship with Troy Lee and his team.
This partnership is an important part of solidifying our commitment to
the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship.”

As preparations are underway for the Lake Elsinore stop of the Lucas
Oil Off Road Racing Series, Team Lucas partner, E3 Sparkplugs has
agreed to present a significantly enhanced purse to three marquis truck
classes. For the June 27th and 28th rounds at Lake Elsinore, E3
Sparkplugs with DiamondFire Technology, will provide $10,000 each day
to the winners in both Unlimited 2 and Unlimited 4 as well $5,000 for
second and $2,500 to the third place finisher.

If Saturday’s action here in Surprise, AZ for the Lucas Oil Off Road
Racing Series presented by Geico Powersports set the benchmark for
excitement, close racing, and on-track drama, Sunday’s action raised
that bar all over again. Once again, a sellout crowd and enjoyable
weather were on hand at the Speedworld Off Road Park for Round 4 of
competition, and what transpired on the racetrack was nothing short of
terrific.

Wreckage and mayhem were the orders of the day during Round 3 of the
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series presented by Geico Powersports. A
sellout crowd was treated to gentle breezes and warm temperatures at
the Speedworld Off Road Park here in Surprise, AZ, and the fans watched
in awe as race after race of action-packed madness took over the
racetrack. Surprise was true to its name, providing countless
unforeseen incidents that kepts fans and crew members alike on the
edges of their seats.

What a difference a race makes! After the new Lucas Oil Off Road Racing
Series presented by Geico Powersports kicked off with its series opener
in Primm, NV, the best short course off-road racers in the world
re-dawned their suits and helmets for the series’ second weekend of
racing here at the Speedworld Motorsports Complex in Surprise, AZ.
After an impressive opening weekend in Primm, it seems the lure of
thundering engines and flying mud has drawn many more short course
racers into the fray. Short course racing is back in force, and this
weekend’s action kicked off with qualifying this afternoon.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) rolls into the Valley of
the Sun as short course off road racing comes to Speedworld for rounds
3 and 4 in Surprise, Arizona on May 2nd and 3rd. Arizona will be
playing host to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series for the first time
with the long awaited arrival of high impact, high energy short course
off road racing. The popular off road racing series is sure to make an
immediate impact with the raucous roar of 850HP Unlimited Trucks
combined with the wail of Light Trucks and high strung buggies. The
anticipated Speedworld event is sure to draw a significant crowd from
an off road savvy fan base that has been clamoring for an area event
since the emergence of short course off road racing in the West.
